Course Title : PC Technician
Career Opportunity
Tanzania has a large base of Personal
Computers and PC based servers being used in organisations
ranging from large government and parastatals to individual
users. The wide range of equipment originating from various
suppliers offers extensive opportunity to qualified technicians
in general installation, routine maintenance and repair of
computer systems. This course provides adequate knowledge to
participants to enable them to gain employment or be self
employed in the business of maintenance of personal computers.
Duration
Full time : 6 hours per day for 5 weeks
Part time : 3 hours per day for 10 weeks
Course days : Monday - Friday
Objectives
- To provide participants with adequate
knowledge of computing required to understand the
functionality and operation of computer systems.
- Introduce participants to the standard
computer architecture and hence gain adequate knowledge
of design of hardware and component functionality.
- To enable participants to diagnose
problems in systems and provide solutions to the
problems.
